When you see the words Casual Tonalities, your first reaction may be that we've become dyslexic and got the words of the label backwards. Not true! Casual Tonalities is the slightly less, left of center brother to Tone Casualties. The music is still innovative and eclectic but much more radio friendly. More lyrical too. As Tone Casualties carries on in its hell bent mission of bringing you the most exciting industrial, trance and ambient music around, look for Casual Tonalities to bring a slightly skewed slant of music you can sing. We're too bent to be mainstream so don't fret. Just the word makes us shudder. EEEeeh!

Our first release should give you an idea of where we're coming from. It's a compilation of various artists called NOTHING IN COMMON. The contents are exactly what the name implies. The 17 acts on this CD (a lot of music for your money!) are unknown, however, there is some cool history here.

For example: Joey Santiago from the Pixies is the guitarist for the Martinis (on this compilation!). Joe Gore from Action Plus used to play guitar with PJ Harvey and Tom Waits. Piotr Fijalkowski of Polak used to be the lead singer of Adorable. You get the idea. Lots of great music from some incredible artists. Some known , some about to become known.
